Few bands have made Las Vegas sound as cinematic as The Killers. Formed in 2001 by Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning, with Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. completing the classic lineup in 2002, they built their sound on a foundation of new wave shimmer, post punk urgency and something that feels distinctly American in its scope. That combination clicked fast: their debut Hot Fuss launched Mr. Brightside and Somebody Told Me into UK chart history, and the band never really looked back. Seven studio albums in, every single one of them topping the UK Albums Chart, The Killers have sold over 35 million records worldwide. Their range spans the anthemic heartland rock of Sam's Town through to the synth driven sweep of Day and Age, with Human becoming a global smash. They have headlined Glastonbury twice, packed out Madison Square Garden and Wembley Stadium, and performed across more than 50 countries on six continents.
