About
The Kolors made their biggest splash yet with "Italodisco", the 2023 banger that hit number one in Italy and cracked the top ten in Switzerland and Poland. The Naples born trio of Stash Fiordispino, his brother Alex on drums, and Daniele Mona on synthesizers had already built a solid following long before that, winning season 14 of the hugely popular Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi and releasing three studio albums between 2014 and 2017. Those records blended pop rock with both Italian and English lyrics, racking up over 650,000 copies sold in Italy. Their career has a few memorable turns beyond the chart hits. A collaboration with rapper J Ax, a platinum duet with Elodie that dominated Italian radio in 2019, and multiple appearances at the Sanremo Music Festival round out a resume that keeps expanding. Signing with Warner Music Italy in 2023 clearly gave them a second wind, and "Italodisco" put them on the European map in a way none of their previous work quite managed.
