About
The Neon Years takes the pop and rock canon of the late seventies, eighties and nineties and rebuilds it as a full live concert experience. The set pulls from a wide range of classics, moving between Dutch and international acts: think The Eagles alongside Het Goede Doel, or U2 rubbing shoulders with Faithless. These are the songs that soundtracked car journeys, walkmans and late night radio. The band, all musicians who grew up with this era themselves, brings carefully arranged versions of these tracks rather than straight copies. The result is something between a live show and a shared memory, with enough energy and musical detail to hold a room well beyond pure nostalgia.
