About
The One and Only is a live band that specialises in bringing sixties music to the stage, playing the classic hits of that era with a full band sound. Their reputation rests on combining genuine musicianship with a strong sense of entertainment, mixing the songs with humour and lively crowd interaction rather than just running through a set list. Experienced on large stages, the group knows how to get an audience going. A recurring collaborator is Peter Lusse, a Dutch actor and singer widely known for playing Eddie in the popular Dutch television series Vrienden voor het Leven, which made him a familiar face on Dutch TV in the nineties. As a frontman he brings comic timing and a theatrical quality to the show, sitting naturally alongside the band's own energetic and playful approach.
