About
Utrecht punk veterans The Possible Suspect have decades of live experience under their belts, and they play with the kind of loose, angular energy that only comes from years in the trenches. Their sound sits somewhere between punk rock, post hardcore and independent music, with a post punk swing that keeps things from feeling too rigid. After a gap of twelve years they returned with the EP Destination, seven tracks that capture that mix of jagged guitars and momentum. The band has a wry sensibility about it too: their whole thing is having a good time while staring down the self satisfied machinery of late capitalism.
