About
Three quarters of The Predators are Powderfinger alumni, which tells you plenty about where this Brisbane outfit is coming from. Ian Haug and John Collins were longtime members of that beloved Australian rock band, and Steven Bishop was actually an original member who left early on. The four piece came together in 2005 when Powderfinger went on hiatus, with Haug also bringing in Ross McLennan, his drumming partner from Far Out Corporation. They signed to Dew Process and put out their debut EP Pick Up the Pace in 2006, but when Powderfinger reunited later that year, The Predators went quiet. It took fifteen years for the follow up to arrive, but in 2021 they finally delivered their first full length album, Everybody Loves.
