About
Sisters Jyl and Jules Wylde started The Pretty Wild playing pop cover sets in casinos before pivoting hard into alternative metal, and the pivot stuck. Signed to Sumerian Records and based in Las Vegas, the duo blend nu metal heaviness, post hardcore edge and a genuinely sugary pop sensibility into what some have called "baddiecore". Their debut EP Trigger Warning got things moving, and 2024 brought real momentum: "sLeepwALKeR" picked up viral traction on TikTok, and the band contributed to a Metallica "The Unforgiven" cover alongside Diamante and Kittie for the Queen of the Ring soundtrack. A collab with Ekoh on a Linkin Park track rounded out a busy year. Their debut album zero.point.genesis arrived in November 2025, featuring a team up with Magnolia Park, and live experience has stacked up fast through support slots with In This Moment and festival appearances including Welcome to Rockville.
