The Skepticals has one upcoming show in the Netherlands: on November 27, 2026 at Theater De Roode bioscoop, Amsterdam.
About
The Skepticals play a groovy blend of mod jazz, boogaloo, New Orleans flavours, spy sounds and rhythm and blues. The line up is built around a growling organ, a sax that cuts through the mix, a loose guitar, a fat bassline and funky drums, all locked into a tight, danceable pocket. Most of what they play is their own material rather than covers. Every now and then a theremin turns up too, haunting the edges of a tune and adding a slightly eerie, retro soundtrack feel to the whole thing.
