About
Also known as: Starting Line, Starting Line, The
Few pop punk bands from the early 2000s era have pulled off a genuine second act, but The Starting Line are giving it a real shot. Formed in Churchville, Pennsylvania in 1999, they built their name on sharp, melodic pop punk with a knack for writing about heartbreak and life on the road. Their debut full length Say It Like You Mean It put them on the Warped Tour map, with singles like The Best of Me getting heavy radio and TV play. The major label follow up Based on a True Story outsold the debut four times over in its first week, and songs like Inspired by the Dollar didn't shy away from calling out the label's demands. After nearly two decades without a studio album, the band came back in a big way in September 2025 with Eternal Youth, their fourth full length record. Recent music videos for tracks like Sense of Humor and Curveball suggest the comeback is no one off.
