About
Also known as: Julian Casablancas + the Voidz, Julian Casablancas+The Voidz
Julian Casablancas fronts The Voidz, a New York experimental rock outfit that has consistently pushed further out from the indie rock territory most people associate with his other band. Their debut album Tyranny landed in 2014 to critical notice, cracking NME's top 50 albums of that year, and their 2018 follow up Virtue came out on Cult Records via RCA. The band's live sets are famously eclectic, mixing original material with Strokes covers and unexpected choices like Daft Punk's Instant Crush. They have kept busy with a steady run of singles and collaborations, including a team up with Mac DeMarco and a feature on Daft Punk's Infinity Repeating for the 10th anniversary of Random Access Memories. Their third album Like All Before You arrived in 2024, and they have wasted no time since, releasing the EP Megz of Ram in July 2025 along with tracks like Unholy Lover and Drifto.
