About
Then Comes Silence channel something genuinely dark into their Stockholm brand of gothic rock and post punk, drawing on horror and spiritism for their sonic palette. Formed in 2012, they built their early catalogue across three albums on the Novoton label before signing with Nuclear Blast in 2016, a move that brought their brooding sound to a much wider European audience. Their 2017 album Blood marked that step up, and they have kept the momentum going with Machine in 2020, Hunger in 2022, and Trickery in 2024. Along the way they have shared stages with gothic legends Fields of the Nephilim and played the Roskilde Festival, confirming their place as one of the more serious acts working in this corner of post punk.
