About
THEY. is the LA duo of Dante Jones and Drew Love, and their sound sits at a genuinely interesting crossroads: R&B bones, guitar driven production, and influences ranging from Babyface to Kurt Cobain and Taking Back Sunday. They broke through fast after forming in 2015, when their debut EP Nü Religion caught serious critical attention and the Zhu and Skrillex collaboration "Working for It" became a genuine crossover moment. Their 2017 debut album Nü Religion: Hyena earned them a Coachella slot, and the 2018 EP Fireside brought in a stacked roster of collaborators including Wiz Khalifa, Jessie Reyez, Ty Dolla Sign, and Jeremih. Their second studio album The Amanda Tape arrived in 2020 on Avant Garden Records under Island Records, featuring the Tinashe collab "Play Fight" and cementing a sound that keeps finding new ways to blur genre lines.
