About
This is Lorelei is the solo project of Nate Amos, who also operates as one half of Water From Your Eyes. Under this name he channels Americana, bluegrass and pop into personal songwriting that mixes humor, melancholy and some genuinely strange turns. His album 'The Singer in My Band' draws on the tradition of the Great American Songbook while bending it into something distinctly his own. Much of the record took shape on the road, with ideas developing gradually during stretches of touring. The result is music that feels both rooted in classic American traditions and quietly off kilter in the best possible way.
