Threat Signal built their reputation before they'd even played a single live show. Their demo track "Rational Eyes" hit number one on the international metal chart on GarageBand.com in early 2004, racking up awards for best guitars, best drums, best male vocals and best production along the way. That kind of momentum landed them a deal with Nuclear Blast and set the stage for their debut album Under Reprisal, recorded in Los Angeles with Christian Olde Wolbers of Fear Factory and released in 2006 to strong reviews. The Hamilton, Ontario outfit plays in the space where melodic death metal, metalcore and groove metal all meet, and they've kept at it through relentless lineup shuffles, with vocalist Jon Howard the sole constant since the band formed in 2003. Four albums followed that debut, including the self titled record produced by Chris Zeuss Harris and Disconnect on Agonia Records. A fifth album, Revelations, has been recorded and mastered, with the band showing no signs of slowing down.
