Tia Gordon grew up in Kent and started singing at four years old, picking up a guitar in her teens and quietly uploading her own songs to SoundCloud before anyone knew her name. The leap to Instagram came in 2019, where she posted covers and originals every week and built a loyal following from scratch. Her sound sits at the crossroads of vulnerable r&b and modern soul, a combination that landed her on Spotify playlists and caught the attention of artists like Mahalia and Mabel during a BBC Live Lounge session.
