About
Tigerjunge bring something genuinely hard to pin down: the Bochum duo wires sampled, overdriven guitars and live drums into a framework of EBM, lo fi electronics, NDW and electroclash, threading a spiritual and psychological message through the whole thing. Live, the effect collapses the distance between a club set and a punk show, with spoken word fragments surfacing alongside the harder electronic elements. The comparison that keeps circulating is "the German Sleaford Mods", which gives you a rough sense of the energy and the attitude, even if the sonic territory is its own thing entirely.
