About
Buffalo, New York's The Tins caught attention with their 2010 song "The Green Room," a track from their debut self titled EP released through V2 Records. That early buzz set them on a steady path through indie rock, with a string of EPs and their first full length Life's A Gas arriving in 2012. They kept building from there, dropping "Young Blame," "Love on Strike," and "City Lies" before returning with their second self titled album in 2018. That 2018 record came loaded with activity, spawning singles including "Sundried Mind" and "Hear Me Out," plus the double A side "Saksaywaman / Open Minded" and a pair of covers in "Not A Second Time / Shelter From The Storm." The band is made up of Michael Santillo on vocals and keys, Adam Putzer on guitar, David Muntner on drums, and Justin John Smith on bass.
