Tom Misch is a London based musician and producer whose sound sits at the crossroads of jazz funk, neo soul and nu jazz. He built an early following through SoundCloud before his debut album Geography arrived in 2018, a record that brought him widespread attention and featured collaborations including De La Soul and Loyle Carner. His second album, What Kinda Music, came out in 2020 as a full joint project with jazz drummer Yussef Dayes and was released through Blue Note Records. That record earned a Best Album nomination at the Ivor Novello Awards in 2021. In 2023, Misch took a playful turn with Happy Music, releasing it under the alter ego Supershy, showing he is far from content repeating himself.
