About
Also known as: Tommynocker
Tommyknocker is one of the Italian hardcore scene's early exports, a DJ and producer who was among the first to play hardcore in Italian clubs back in the mid 1990s. He built his name on distorted bass and angry vocals, and his 2003 EP Showtime, featuring the tracks Demolition and Showtime, is the release that really put him on the map. His first EP, The Realm, came out on Traxtorm Records in 1999. The 2007 collaboration Twisted World with The Viper hit number one in the Masters Of Hardcore Radio Live top 100, and Criminal, a 2009 track with a message about government corruption and a clear nod to 1990s hardcore techno, landed in second place. He has played Masters of Hardcore, Decibel Outdoor, Raving Nightmare, Defqon.1 and Q Base, and in 2005 he faced the biggest crowd of his career at Thunderdome. His sets have taken him across Europe and as far as Australia.
