About
Tomode make Swedish nu disco with a melancholy streak, music built for dancing but not for pretending life is all highs. Their debut album, Existential Disco, came out in 2024, and the French edition of Rolling Stone pegged them as the new wave of Swedish disco. The band pairs euphoric arrangements with a pretty unfiltered look at the frayed edges of being human, so the dancefloor becomes a place to sit with the ups and downs rather than escape them. Their second album is titled We Missed It While It Happened.
