About
Three Copenhagen producers going by Fred, Bryn, and Ras, Tripolism built their name in the Danish DJ scene before landing on Ultra Records in 2023. Their debut single on the label, "Dope Dance", kicked off a run where three consecutive releases each earned a BBC Radio 1 Essential New Tune nod from Pete Tong, a rare streak for any act. Their debut album Absolute Dope followed in mid 2024, a ten tracker that Mixmag praised for blending Nordic noir sensibility with club ready energy, featuring standout cuts like "Soultrain" and "Good Times". Their sound pulls from house, disco, and techno, with vocals woven in throughout. Going into 2025 they have kept a steady pace, collaborating with Nandu on the Middle Eastern tinged "Nuraan", hitting number one on Beatport with a remix of The Shapeshifters' "Lola's Theme" via Defected's Glitterbox imprint, and teaming up with WhoMadeWho on "Flying Away With You" for Cercle Records. They have also played Tomorrowland, DC 10's Circoloco, and Pacha's Saga series.
