About
ULTRAJAZZ is a jazz platform run by musicians Kika Sprangers and Bob Roos, built around bringing the jazz community together through live collaboration. Every other week they host jam sessions that open with a solid hour long set, with the host pulling in different musicians each time to pay tribute to the jazz tradition, both its classic figures and contemporary ones. After that, the stage opens up to anyone who wants to join in, whether they are a seasoned player or just starting out. The concept sits at the crossroads of performance and community, giving professional and amateur musicians alike a space to play, learn and connect. Bring your instrument and you are in.
