Rochester, New York's Undeath play the kind of death metal that makes you want to headbang and crack a beer at the same time. Formed in 2018, they wasted no time, dropping two demos in 2019 before signing with Prosthetic Records and unleashing their debut album Lesions of a Different Kind in 2020. Their sound draws obvious comparisons to Cannibal Corpse, rooted firmly in old school death metal, but their loose, unpretentious vibe on stage has earned them the affectionate tag of 'party death metal'. They kept the momentum going with It's Time...to Rise from the Grave in 2022, and then returned in 2024 with More Insane. Three albums in six years, each one built on the same formula of crushing riffs and a good time attitude that sets them apart from the genre's more self serious acts.
