About
UP: One Straw Evolution takes its name from the Japanese thinker Masanobu Fukuoka, whose philosophy centred on letting things follow their natural course. That idea runs through the music too, where authenticity matters more than polish. The band writes its own material, blending rich vocal harmonies that draw comparisons to The Beatles with country flavoured guitar work and a driving rhythm section. The result sits somewhere between nostalgia and a sharper, more present energy, with lyrics and the interplay between musicians at the heart of it all.
