About
V.I.C. is probably best remembered for "Get Silly", the 2008 club banger that cracked the Billboard Hot 100 at number 29 and helped put his debut album Beast on the Billboard 200. That album remains his only full studio release, as a planned follow up called Revenge of the Beast never made it to completion. His style sits squarely in Southern rap and crunk territory, built for dancefloors rather than deep listening. He kept releasing music past the Beast era, dropping the single "Wobble", which became another crowd favourite, then "Twerk It" in 2012 and "Snapchat (Pose For The Camera)" in 2015. A handful of mixtapes through 2009 and 2012 kept him in circulation between projects. V.I.C. has since retired from rapping, leaving behind a lean but recognisable catalogue tied to a very specific moment in hip hop party music.
