About
Veeze built his name out of Detroit's trap scene with a style Pitchfork described as "vocal oddities and chuckle inducing, stream of consciousness bars," a voice that sits somewhere between melodic and a mutter croak. His 2023 debut studio album Ganger, released through Warner Records, is the record that put him on the map, landing at number 97 on the Billboard 200 and earning spots on year end lists from Complex, The Fader, and Rolling Stone. Collaborators on the project included Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Babyface Ray, and Lucki, with the viral single "GOMD" and its Lil Uzi Vert remix leading the charge. Since Ganger, Veeze has kept the momentum going. A deluxe edition dropped in late 2023, and he launched his own label, Navy Wavy, in partnership with Warner Records. His 2024 collab with Lil Yachty, "Sorry Not Sorry," marked his first solo entry on the Billboard Hot 100. More recently he has been putting out videos for tracks like "F.A.F" featuring Rylo Rodriguez, keeping that Detroit trap energy very much alive.
