About
Leicester based reggae collective Vibronics have been shaping the UK digital dub scene since 1995, built around the core duo of Steve Vibronics and Richi Rootz. Their early tracks like "Universal Love" and "Jah Light, Jah Love" earned serious respect from heavyweight sound systems including Jah Shaka, Iration Steppas, and Aba Shanti I, which is about as strong a stamp of approval as dub gets. Their debut album, Outernational Dub Conference Volume One, came out of a run of live dub conferences across Europe with Jah Free, and set the tone for a prolific career on their own SCOOPS label. Over the years they have pulled in an impressive range of vocalists, from Prince Alla and Ranking Joe to Echo Ranks and Madu Messenger, plus an unexpected collab with Fun Lovin' Criminals. They have kept touring across Europe and picked up national airplay through Brinsley Forde's BBC 6 Music Dub Bashment show. Their 2015 release The Return Of Vibronics showed they were not done yet.
