About
Vividly Frank is the solo project of singer songwriter Frank van der Burgt, born in Eindhoven in 1972. The project has been running since 2010 and has produced three albums: With The Rain, Fallin' Apart, and The Void Of Dukkha. That third record is a continuous 42 minute composition, written at the piano and developed together with a group of like minded musicians. Stylistically it marks a return to melodic and symphonic pop rock, the kind of music that shaped van der Burgt's own taste. Themes of introspection, impermanence and the nature of human suffering run through the record, giving it an emotional weight that sets it apart from more casual songwriting. The Void Of Dukkha is available on vinyl as well as on streaming platforms.
