About
Formed in Los Angeles in 2009, Volumes built their sound around a blend of metalcore, djent and progressive metal that set them apart from the wave of bands playing similar territory at the time. Bassist Raad Soudani is the one constant thread through every lineup change, while vocalists Michael Barr and Myke Terry handle a dynamic interplay of harsh and clean vocals. Their debut album Via hit number one on the iTunes Rock and Metal Charts, and the band spent the following years logging serious road time on Vans Warped Tour and a string of high profile package tours. Now on Fearless Records, Volumes have five studio albums to their name, the most recent being Mirror Touch in 2025. Recent activity backs that up, with official visualizers and a music video dropping for tracks like Dream, Adrenaline and Sidewinder pointing to a busy stretch of new material.
