About

Welshly Arms named themselves after a fictional hotel from a Will Ferrell sketch on Saturday Night Live, which tells you something about their sense of humor. The Cleveland blues rock band draws from a deep well of influences, from Jimi Hendrix and Howlin' Wolf to hometown heroes like The Black Keys and The O'Jays, and they write, produce, and record everything themselves right there in Ohio. Their music has shown up in trailers for Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight and The D Train with Jack Black, and their track "Sanctuary" made its way into Lucifer, the 9 1 1 season 2 finale, and even the menu soundtrack of the video game Asphalt 9: Legends. Their biggest moment of widespread recognition came with "Legendary," which served as the official theme for WWE's 2017 TLC pay per view and landed in a campaign for the Cleveland Indians as well as a Netflix promo for Sense8. The band has kept busy across a string of releases including the albums No Place Is Home and Wasted Words and Bad Decisions, plus the Dangerous EP in 2022.
