Harrisburg, Pennsylvania metalcore outfit What Lies Below has been quietly building momentum since forming in 2020, anchored by brothers Andrew and Mike Watson on vocals and guitar. Their early EPs, Destinations and Darker Colors, laid the groundwork, and signing with Theoria Records in 2024 helped them level up with the expanded Darker Colors (Deluxe). The band rounds out its sound with lead guitarist Sam Hart and drummer Jonah Luteman. Their second full album, I Let It Consume Me, dropped in July 2026, with recent visualizers for tracks like Pale Shadow and Ether keeping the momentum going. For a relatively young band, they have packed a lot into a short run.
