About
Wooli, the alias of New York producer Adam Puleo, has carved out a solid niche in the heavier end of electronic music, blending riddim and briddim with melodic dubstep in a way that genuinely sounds like his own thing. His 2019 collab with Seven Lions and Trivecta, "Island", hit No. 20 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, and later that year "Another Me" with Seven Lions and Excision cracked the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart too. Both tracks show his range: brutal, bass heavy drops sitting alongside glowing, emotional melodies. Before those breakout moments, Wooli had already been building a reputation through releases on Never Say Die and Monstercat, collaborating with producers like FuntCase, Snails, and Trivecta. His 2018 EP Mammoth captures that dual personality well, mixing raw briddim energy with more personal, melodic dubstep. He is not just a one trick bass machine; the emotional weight in his music is as much a part of the package as the bone rattling drops.
