About
Also known as: Adrian Galvin
Yoke Lore is the solo project of Adrian Galvin, a New York based multi instrumentalist, dancer, and visual artist who cut his teeth as a drummer in Walk the Moon before a brief detour through indie duo Yellerkin. His sound as Yoke Lore blends delicate vocals with layered instrumentation, and his first EP Far Shore landed in 2016, quickly earning him a slot at SXSW and international tour dates. He also founded a dance group called Boomerang that same year, which tells you something about how seriously he takes performance as a whole. Over the years he has put out a steady string of EPs and singles, collaborating with Jax Anderson on "Sensitive Heart" and with NVDES on "Everybody Wants to Be Loved". His debut full length, Toward a Never Ending New Beginning, arrived in 2023, and he has kept releasing new music since, with singles dropping into 2025.
