About
Yury Revich plays on a 1709 Stradivari on loan, which tells you something about the level this Moscow born, Vienna trained violinist operates at. His recording of music by Chevalier de Saint Georges hit the Billboard Top 100 Classical Charts and ended up on the Bridgerton soundtrack, bringing his playing to a much wider audience than the concert hall alone. The Strad praised his "full blooded authority" and "fleet fingered dexterity," and the press has taken to calling him the New Paganini. Beyond performing, Revich has pushed hard into composing, premiering his First Symphony in London, his First Violin Concerto in Salzburg, and debuting as a composer at Salle Pleyel in Paris. He records for Sony Classical among others, and runs his own multidisciplinary Festival Nights in Vienna, pulling in collaborators from Martha Argerich to William Orbit. His original music comes out under the project name OLARIO.
