About
Out of Idrija, Slovenia, Zablujena Generacija have been doing their own thing in punk and alternative rock since 1994, long before comparisons to Blink 182 or The Offspring became a shorthand for their sound. The name roughly translates to "Delusive or Stray Generation", which fits the scrappy, saloon punk energy they built up playing garages and cellars in their hometown. Their roots are firmly in The Ramones school of punk, and that DNA never quite left. Over the years they built up a solid discography, from early Vinylmania Records releases like Fajht and Pank Zabloda through to the 2008 record Mi Smo Stare Pizde on Panker Studio. They even took a shot at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, entering the Slovenian selection EMA with the track Kdo Hoče Plesati Z Menoj. It is a pretty unexpected move for a punk band, but then again, Zablujena Generacija have always done things on their own terms.
