About
Zahr Backbier is a 15 year old singer from Tilburg who started making music at home around the piano with family and friends. What grew out of those informal sessions is a warm, acoustic sound built on close harmonies and a spontaneous, living room energy. She and her ensemble have taken that sound to TikTok, where their videos have racked up hundreds of thousands of views. A cover of Atlas by Pommelien Thijs crossed the half million mark and gave Zahr her first real viral moment. Her performances blend recognisable covers with the kind of relaxed, intimate feel that made those videos connect in the first place.
