About
Zanggroep Perpleks is a vocal group from Udenhout that has been singing together for thirty years. It's a big ensemble, around 35 singers, led by Peter van Lonkhuijsen, and the whole point is the pleasure of making music as a group. Their programme mixes things up on purpose. You get uptempo pop songs, well known musical numbers and material of their own, so a show moves between high energy and more emotional moments. Close harmony is the home base, but the repertoire is broad enough to keep an evening varied rather than one note.
