About
Also known as: Jan Hannes Zartmann
Zartmann, the Berlin based German singer, rapper and songwriter, mixes pop vocals with rap in a way that feels genuinely emotional rather than calculated. His early buzz came from the song "2 Blocks" and the EP "11 bis 2," but his path wasn't smooth: a messy management situation left him locked out of releasing music for over a year, until 01099 member Zachi stepped in and paid for a lawyer to get him out of the contract. Since signing with a Sony Music label, things have moved fast. The collab with Ski Aggu, "Wie du manchmal fehlst," hit number six in the German charts and won the 1Live Krone for Best Alternative Song in 2024. Then "Tau mich auf" went all the way to number one in Germany in early 2025, landing Zartmann on the cover of Spotify Germany's Wrapped playlist. His 2026 tour sold out almost immediately, with the final show at the Max Schmeling Halle.
