About
Also known as: Юлия Зиверт
Few Russian pop artists broke through as quickly as Zivert. Born Yulia Sytnik in Moscow, she released her first singles in 2017 after signing with Pervoye muzykalnoye, but it was the slick, atmospheric track "Life" that put her on the map internationally. By 2019, that song had claimed the top spot on Yandex Music's most popular tracks of the year and landed second on Apple Music's most streamed list in Russia, with the video shot in Hong Kong giving it a distinctly cinematic feel. Her debut album Vinyl #1 followed in September 2019, and she kept the momentum going with singles like "Beverly Hills" and "YATL". She was reportedly shortlisted twice for Russia's Eurovision selection, in 2020 and 2021, though she never ended up representing the country. More recently she stepped into a mentor role as a coach on The Voice Russia in 2024, showing there is more than one way to leave a mark on the Russian music scene.
