Vera is a music venue in Groningen that evolved from a reformed student association into a left wing youth centre in the 1970s, hosting bands from the Netherlands and abroad. The venue became an official pop stage in 1986. The building retains the Ichthus fish symbol from its earlier incarnation as S.S.R.G., which has become part of Vera's visual identity.
About ARSON
Arson deal in an explosive blend of rock and roll, punk, hardcore and southern rock, held together by roaring guitars, tight drums and intense vocals. The combination is raw and physical, the kind of music that feels at home in sweaty venues with a packed and heaving crowd.
