About Bas Marée

Bas Marée sings and plays guitar in a duo with pianist and singer Johan Hoogeboom, and together they build their repertoire around the songs of Jacques Brel. It's a programme that leans on Brel's big, dramatic compositions and his richly worded lyrics, with a sharp, sensitive edge running through it.
