Vera is a music venue in Groningen that evolved from a reformed student association into a left wing youth centre in the 1970s, hosting bands from the Netherlands and abroad. The venue became an official pop stage in 1986. The building retains the Ichthus fish symbol from its earlier incarnation as S.S.R.G., which has become part of Vera's visual identity.

Béton Armé, a French-Canadian Oi! punk band from Montreal known for their resistance to Anglo-centrism and releases such as 'Second Souffle' and 'Renaissance', headlines this Downstage Extra show at Vera Groningen. They are joined by Dutch support act Robber, a punk outfit described as 'Haarlems finest, Amsterdams toughest en Grunns nicest'. Doors open at 19:30 with the show starting at 20:00, and tickets are priced at €7.50.
