About Cello Octet
Cello Octet Amsterdam is a group of eight cellists who take music that was never written for them and make it their own. A good example is their work with the compositions of Ryuichi Sakamoto, the Japanese composer, pianist and climate activist, whose pieces were arranged specifically for the ensemble.
