De Groene Zwaan is a former Lutheran church in the historic village of De Rijp in North Holland, operating as a cultural centre since the 1960s. Volunteers organize diverse events for all ages including live music, film screenings, literary cafes, record fairs, lectures and themed discos. The venue also hosts bar nights and dance parties featuring house, hip hop and drum and bass for younger audiences, while accommodating the local music and pop music school.
About Kids but Taller
Kids but Taller is a duo made up of Laniek Reedijk and Sem van Gennip, who used to perform under the name La Nique. They write warm, melodic pop songs that clearly nod to the music of the past, while the stories they tell sit close to their grown up lives today.
