Vera is a music venue in Groningen that evolved from a reformed student association into a left wing youth centre in the 1970s, hosting bands from the Netherlands and abroad. The venue became an official pop stage in 1986. The building retains the Ichthus fish symbol from its earlier incarnation as S.S.R.G., which has become part of Vera's visual identity.

Minorie presents an evening of experimental folk at Vera Groningen, featuring Russian-born, France-based vocalist Katya Shirshkova performing her 2025 vocal work 'Le Héron' — a four-part piece rooted in folk traditions and layered monophonic choral textures — alongside Czech guitarist and sound-artist Tomáš Niesner, who presents his latest album 'adventous mmxxv', blending Eastern European medieval hymns with minimalist guitar and subtle electronics. This marks Katya Shirshkova's first performance in the Netherlands.
