About Noorder

Noorder is a clarinet and piano duo made up of Ivar Berix and Aafje van Gemert, who also plays harmonium. Their repertoire mixes improvisation and folk music with arrangements they make themselves, and they draw on composers like Hildegard von Bingen, Komitas, Fauré, Schubert and Beethoven.
