Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.

Fosvor draws its energy straight from Rotterdam, using the city's history of destruction and rebuilding as the foundation for their sound. The band plays metalcore with a sense of scale, layering crushing heaviness with melodies and soundscapes that actually stick.
