Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.

GIF has been hooked on electronic dance music since an early age, and his record collection leans toward the experimental side. When he steps behind the decks for a club setting, though, he shifts gears and plays feel good dance tracks with an alternative edge.
