Vera is a music venue in Groningen that evolved from a reformed student association into a left wing youth centre in the 1970s, hosting bands from the Netherlands and abroad. The venue became an official pop stage in 1986. The building retains the Ichthus fish symbol from its earlier incarnation as S.S.R.G., which has become part of Vera's visual identity.

The duo is known for making synthesizers sound like guitars on earthquake mode, blending the heaviness of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple with the electronic precision of LCD Soundsystem and Chemical Brothers.
