Singer songwriter Jet van der Steen is back on the stage at Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen this January, a year after being named 3FM Talent.

Singer songwriter jet van der steen is back at Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) in Groningen this January. It's not her first time at the festival: last year she delivered a convincing set, after which she was named 3FM Talent. According to NPO 3FM, she has since become a familiar face at the station.
She built that position in no time. Jet took part in the Symfonische Sessies, played several festivals this summer, including Lowlands, and made her debut at Pinkpop. She's also a regular on the radio, and on the show Wat een Plaatje she shared her favorite records with Mandy.
Van der steen broke through with the song 'Adem In, Adem Uit'. With an energetic sound and electronic influences, she carved out a place of her own in Dutch pop music. She built a loyal fanbase with covers and Dutch language reworkings, and she loves playing on the edge of what grates and surprises. By now she has several hits of her own, such as 'Fuck Je Gucci Shirt', 'Juni' and her newest track 'Kleine Kans'.
Her upcoming shows also show how fast things are moving. The Melkweg in Amsterdam is no longer unfamiliar ground for her: she has already played the UP and the OZ there, and on November 22 she takes the stage in the MAX. The Melkweg even declared that date jet van der steen day, because she also performed there on November 22, 2025.
For fans of new Dutch language pop, ESNS is traditionally the place to discover emerging talent, and jet van der steen proves that a breakthrough can happen quickly. Her return to Groningen is a great chance to see how much she has grown in just a year.
